As a member of Villanova's Social Justice Documentary Class, we created our media production company, Stained Glass Films, and went on to produce three different documentaries. As Co-Director of Art of Resistance, I traveled to Salvador, Bahia, Brazil for two weeks to film and returned to campus to direct and produce the film over two semesters.

As a student fellow with Taught by Literature: Recentering Black Women Writers, supported by Villanova’s Anne Welsh McNulty Institute, I recover and make accessible a short story collection written by Alice Dunbar-Nelson in the 19th century, enabling educators nationally to Philadelphia area public school educators allowing them to better incorporate Black authors into their curriculum.
