During this time, I researched how Nicotine withdrawal affects cognitive flexibility. The applications of this continued research will provide new targets for smoking cessation drugs. As a team we designed experiments with mice to show how decision making was impacted by nicotine withdrawal, and then individually wrote conclusions of our findings and potential real-life applications.
