1. Intercompany Accounting-· Reconcile General ledger to Sub ledger and complete all period end close processes assigned.· Preparation for Journals for Intercompany entities.· Ensure Intercompany invoicing is completed in a timely manner. · Understanding the relevant systems to ensure correct processing of financial transactions including Application ofbasic accounting concepts of Debits / Credits, Control accounts while recording transactions Responsible for Maintenance and accuracy of various tracker Preparation of the Accounting reconciliations in-line with best practices requirements aligning to TGAP(Tesco Group Accounting Policy) Highlighting of all accounting Issues in the Balance sheet reconciliations with suggested probable solutions· Identifying operational improvements and finding solutions by applying CI tools and technique Chasing for the payment of long overdue accounts by sending follow up emails to the Accounts payable contacts.Matches payment details against open invoices( Cash application)Analyzes, qualifies, and completes netting application.Adheres to timelines and understands the importance of accuracy to avoid surprise scenarios in balances sheetsResponsible for Group Inter-company Reporting activates(HFM)2. Fixed Asset Accounting: FX- Capitalization- Capitalizing the difference in FX rate at invoice booking and invoice payment.· P-daily- Process of moving the capital booking from project costing to Fixed Asset. Transferring of Assets from one cost Centre to another.· Month end reports- Downloading reports from the oracle with the given parameters in all the books.· Retirement and sales of an asset- Removing an asset from the asset register and also booking of the sales value of a given asset.· Asset Capitalization – Changing the status from CIP to CAP.· Balance sheet Reconciliation – Tie up the sub ledger and general ledger balances with proper backups.
