I have the privilege to implement the Foundation's Good Jobs Challenge (GJC) Grant Project under the Ignite Initiative. It was awarded by the United States Economic Development Administration in August of 2022. The GJC project goal is to provide education and training opportunities toward quality, regional jobs in specific industries along with access to wraparound services for 900+ individuals from underserved populations.

Flight planning; time management, inspection of aircraft, verification by higher authority, research of weather throughout flight, knowledge and complying of Military and Federal Aviation Administration regulations. Ensure safety of all passengers. Operated in both Foreign Combat and Domestic theaters.

Skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Word. Public speaking, research, interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Negotiation, investigation, public procurement. Plan, organize, supervise the movement of a deployment, redeployment of Army personnel and equipment. Represents the Battalion Commander in attending to the details of getting the unit ready for movement and maintaining that readiness when it is achieved. The position is an extremely demanding and equally important. Some responsibilities include but not limited to knowledge of logistics; scheduling; and inventory management. As well as supervising preparation and maintenance; execution of the movement plan; train unit level officers; prepare and maintain documentation required for unit movements; present to planning conferences of higher echelon and have detailed understanding of current status. Also maintain a continuity binder. Represent as an Officer in Charge for the mobility operations of the Battalion. Train company level on mobility requirements; ensure certification for all company level Unit Movement Officers as well as Hazmat Certifiers. Continue mobility education and certification at Fort Lee, VA. Accustom to working long hours in hazardous conditions and high stress environments while paying close attention to details.This is an additional duty along with strenuous flying requirements. That being said, this has been a very challenging position and requires support from leadership. I am appreciative to my leadership who supported me and to my peers and company level UMOs who worked so diligently to be successful.
