Some of My Inside Sales Duties Include: • Assisting distributors with quote requests, including specs for small and large projects. - Valve and Actuator Sizing (Pneumatic, Rack & Pinion/Scotch Yoke, & Electrics), Mounting Kits (ISO & Non), Flow Cv Specifications, Accessories, Class Requirements (Nema 4, 7), Etc.• Gather pricing from vendor on accessories not standardly offered. Compiling data and configuring information into a complete quotation to present to the distributor.• Assist the company’s outside sales representatives on quote requests.• Work with production to determine timely ship dates on purchase orders.• Maintain client relations with follow-ups on quotes and status updates on orders.

Folks Fire Alarm designs and installs fire alarm systems for commercial buildings such as high-rises, hospitals, fire departments and schools.My job consists of:• Provided estimates to customers based on spec requirements, equipment & labor costs.• Purchased material for specific jobs and maintained inventory. This is included gathering quotes from multiple vendors to attain budgetary numbers for various jobs.• Created engineer plans using Corel Designer and submitted to fire department(s) for approval. This entailed completing voltage calculation spreadsheets, composing letters with corresponding information, and organizing all data/spec sheets. • Assign jobs to technicians and get them up to speed on complications with job situations. • Ran day-to-day office operations including: Assisting in the field, maintaining books in QuickBooks software. A/P, A/R, estimates, invoices, purchase orders, shipping, bill payments, payroll, monthly bank reconciliations, all financial and sales reports.

Compiled all data to form a cost/time effective estimate. • Followed up on quotes. Analyze discrepancies with customer to be awarded the job.• Purchased any and all materials, domestic and international, needed to complete sale. This was accomplished by getting bids from multiple vendors and determining if the price and time in transit was cost effective within the percentage allowed for the jobs budget.- Maintained inventory for warehouse, shop and office. - Prepared shipping documents such as packing lists, bills of lading for trucking companies, invoices for customs, as well as, invoice classifications for international shipments and printing labels for lighter items going UPS,USPS, Fed-Ex, etc.- Managed the over all flow of the office by keeping track of the books in Quickbooks software: A/P, A/R, estimates, invoicing, purchase orders, work orders for shop, shipping (domestic and international), bill payments, payroll, monthly bank reconciliations, all financial and sales reporting.- Prepared end of year documents and worked closely with the CPA to close the yearly books. Submitted profit and loss, sales and expenditure reports to our location in Switzerland.
