About Trish Carroll

The focus of Elder Matters is to provide counselling and psychology services for individuals and families experiencing the challenges of ageing, including:• the lived experience of health and capacity challenges;• transitioning to later stages of life and/or residential aged care;• living with dementia and/or other degenerative conditions (including younger onset); • elder care responsibilities; and • the uniquely lived experience of loss, grief and bereavement.I have experience working in the aged care sector and have a deep respect for older people and their families facing diverse experiences of ageing, including health and capacity challenges, loneliness and isolation, diminishing independence and experiences of trauma.
