This role is specific to Software Asset Management. The team member will work directly with internal technical teams, internal business teams, sourcing, vendors, software publishers, and other groups in the management/delivery of software tools to the Xcel Energy user community. The primary responsibilities will focus on the financial processing of software purchases and software renewals, responsible for following up and providing remediation for software assets in ServiceNow SAMPro, provide audit and metrics reports on software assets based on life cycles. All efforts will have the objective of the timely processing of renewals and purchases in a cost-effective manner.Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to...- Manage the-end-to end renewal process for an assigned list of software titles.- Work with resellers, vendors, sourcing and internal product owners; to obtain quotes used in the purchase and renewal processes.- Review quotes for completeness and accuracy.- Process quotes in Microsoft SharePoint.- Update and manage accuracy of software records in the ServiceNow software contracts database.- Monitor the progress of procurement requests and purchase order generation; ensuring that they are completed in a timely fashion.- Ensure that the requests are processed with accurate financial treatment.- Manage questions/requests from the user community.
