I consider myself as a pragmatic, rational and result-centered individual, with a clear interest for innovation and sustainability. My proactivity and positive actitude led me to explore various professional areas (mainly science, communication, and entrepreneurship), which now give me an unusual ability to look at problems systemically. With my work I try to reduce the environmental footprint of food systems. I enjoy to be involved in R&I and the startup ecosystem, from farm to fork. I have numerous scientific publications in the field of microbial ecology and microbiome functioning in distinct environments. Outside the academic world, I spent 3 years as director of sales for a nutraceutical company with direct responsibility over 10 employees, and I later became a serial entrepreneur.My professional goal is to promote systemic change in the agricultural sector by putting rural communities at the heart of the innovation process, and then support their shift toward regenerative farming by providing robust data for decision making.
