Main achievement was the successful fund-raising and management of International Peace Summer School 2000, a one-year project including youth leaders from the Middle East, the Balkans, Northern Ireland, South-Africa and Norway. This was a UNESCO Flagship Project for the UN Year of a Culture of Peace, with a budget of approximately USD 200.000.

Main tasks included deployment of international staff, follow-up of regional offices, and maintenance of personnel records.

Department for Environment and Natural Resources. Main tasks included follow-up of various UN environmental negotiations, with particular emphasis on the Rio+5 Special Session of the General Assembly. In total 6 weeks were spent at UN negotiations in New York.
