So now I'm a farmer!This is a new and exciting career path for me. There’s lots to be said about being part of a business with your family, especially if your doing things you like to do. It’s fun, exciting and at times keeps you awake at nights. And we won’t talk about my pay! Top Hops sold to 15 breweries in 2013 and is quickly establishing a good relationship with over 30 breweries in southeast Michigan. We have 10 1/2 acres of hop that we grow, process and sell directly to the Michigan Craft Beer industry. In our first year of harvest we worked with some really great local brewers and even had a harvest brew named Top Hops Lager at Redwood.
