Active and determined undergraduate at the School of Professional Advancement (SoPA) at Tulane University, entering my third year with a strong emphasis on professional development and community engagement.Currently, I hold a position as a substitute teacher for Enriched Schools, where I have been making a positive difference for the past two years. Simultaneously, I have been honing my skills as a social media manager and content coordinator for the Muslim Reentry Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals in reentering society after incarceration.Along with my practical experience, I've earned qualifications in digital marketing, giving me the skills I need to successfully navigate the constantly evolving landscape of online communication and brand promotion. In addition, I have a strong background as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, which highlights my creative skills and abilities in visual storytelling.My main interest is in the field of mental health, and as I look toward the future, I want to do my part to improve my community in this regard. I'm actively looking for internships that will help me enter the field of mental wellness after graduation so that I can support those who are struggling with mental health issues through awareness, education, and support.I am confident in my ability to advocate for mental health, generate compelling visual material, and spread awareness across a number of platforms because of my background in education, communication, digital marketing, and graphic design/illustration.
