May 2020 - Present

Facilitator - National Innovation Games

Australia

The National Innovation Games is Federal Government Funded Initiative in partnership with COSBOA to encourage and drive innovation in Australia. As a facilitator I commenced work in 2020 when the games were delivered 100% online, having been in a winning team for the first virtual games held in 2020. My role as a facilitator is to guide participants, which can include high performing students, business leaders, government or council members through a 12 hour intensive process. Most participants are meeting for the first time and can come from all across the world. Key tools include using Slack, Zoom and Miro Board as participants move through three key sprints. The final process is a pitching competition which occurs at the end of the day to an esteemed industry panel.

Business Growth Advisor - Strategy And Tactics

Adelaide, Australia

With an extensive background in marketing, sales and business development with MBA thinking and a love for numbers I can help build and lead substantial growth in businesses. My industry experience is broad, from tourism, banking and finance, not-for-profit, pharmaceuticals, small business, photography, arts and more. This breadth of experience allows me to apply different models to solve growth problems across industries. What makes me unique is my ability to understand the numbers at a very granular level and at the same time provide creative product/service solutions based on a passion for understanding the core drivers of human behaviour. This analytical, scientific approach to business growth gives great confidence to boards, senior leaders and business owners. The fact that I can analyse like an accountant, strategise like a board and produce creative solutions like an agency means I can move quickly and take a broad audience with me. With a proven history of developing innovative products/services that work, I can help you achieve your business goals.

Business Development & Innovation Executive

Adelaide, Australia

As a start-up business I joined the organisation 6 months after it's launch. Responsible for initiating and building relationships across large and small business in varied industries and across government. I worked closely with Directors of Research, Marketing Managers and the research team to formulate proposals and pitch. As a start-up this role required more than a typical business development approach as products and services evolved and morphed through interactions. I had the pleasure of working with some amazing start-ups across Australian and building relationships with industry leaders including Apple, IBM, Jurlique, Dementia Australia and the newly formed Wellbeing SA (SA Health). While small in comparison to previous growth activities, I was proud of signing up $213k in contracted research with a further $340k in strong proposals in the pipeline. All this amidst the disruption of devastating bushfires and Covid19. A very positive side-effect of this work is to have gained an ever greater appreciation for the lives of all of us as we age. There's so much more we can do to be inclusive of people as they age.
