Responsible for the transformation of network effectiveness and efficiency via the strategic review and implementation of agreed initiatives and ensuring that all service delivery standards and compliance.

North Sydney

• Responsibilities:
• Transition the current contract model of contractor management providing services to defence, into insourcing, providing Broadspectrum labour services to ensure a streamlined, efficient and reliable value adding service
• Provide strategic maintenance plans for the defence fuel installations in Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania
• Execute maintenance plans for all states including mechanical, electrical, non-destructive testing, tank maintenance and cleaning, project works and breakdown service for 43 defence sites
• Provide management of specialist trades as required by defence
• Ensure Long Term Maintenance Plans are provided to defence (outside of existing contract)

Responsible for the implementation of Lean Methodology and Visual Management including coaching, mentoring and change management to embed a sustainable Continuous Improvement Program.

Botany Industrial Park

• The Botany Industrial Park Alliance Manager is responsible for all activities undertaken at the Botany Industrial Park including, but not limited to maintenance work, minor project work, plant shutdowns and to provide.
• Formulation and implementation of business plans that aligns with the Hydrocarbons business units strategic direction for Botany Industrial Park
• Ensure the full functionality of all health, safety, quality and environmental management, systems across Botany Industrial Park are aligned with Transfield Services and the client’s objectives
• Through leadership, ensure the proper incident management all incidents/injuries is undertaken within the appropriate legislative and corporate guidelines and timelines
• Prepare performance, progress and financial reports relating to all works at Botany Industrial Park
• Develop and maintain customer relations and oversee the continued expansion of Transfield Services operations

Sydney Clyde And Botany Industrial Park

• Provide Health Safety & Environment support to Botany Industrial Park site
• Ensure line Management receives sound and timely advice and support on Health Safety & Environment matters
• Provide accurate and reliable Health Safety & Environment performance data which is maintained and analysed
• Health Safety & Environment reports are prepared and submitted within the required time frames
• The HSE system is maintained and updated in accordance with procedural requirements
• Maintain Workplace Health & Safety and ensure the environment is not harmed

Shell Clyde Refinery

• Responsible for the management of all aspects of Emergency Response including Oil Spill Management for the Clyde Shell Refinery and Gore Bay Terminal
• Responsible for the development and Implementation of strategies for managing emergencies including planning, scheduling, and completion of Emergency Response Training and exercises
• Responsible for the integrity and continuous improvement of fire fighting systems and equipment
• Responsible for the Incident Command System and Training aspects
• Manage the 24 hour roster for the team of Emergency Services Officers

Clyde Refinery

• Ensuring the correct operation of various refinery equipment such as process units, furnaces, compressors, turbines, ex-changers,pressure vessels and tanks
• Assisting in optimisation of process units
• Assisting in monitoring the quality of process units
• Performing running adjustments on equipment and minor maintenance tasks
• Authorised Gas Tester responsible for testing hazardous environments checking for concentrations of gas in areas such as vessels, lines and access roadways as detailed in permits and Confined space entries.

• Operational Test and Evaluation representative ensuring the delivery of policy, production and project modification management on all transport aircraft for the Air Force
• Successfully managed several projects providing safer and more efficient running of the Air Force C130 Hercules
