Led and directed a military and civilian workforce of 70 personnel via 9 supervisors.- Restructured aircraft maintenance process using Lean techniques. Developed a plan using Six Sigma process to show we could complete all maintenance packages at one time. This process reduced aircraft down time from six weeks per aircraft per year to three weeks, reduction of 50% down time per year. Also realized an improvement in the labor hour cost per flight hour of aircraft. Almost 13K labor hours were saved per year at a 6 aircraft unit. Working with the Operations Officer, drafted the plan that resulted in the closure of Air Station Los Angeles, combing of assetss, resources and area of response. - Planned and executed 86K+ labor hours in a one-year period.- Enabled safe execution of 3540 flight hours supporting 266 Search and Rescue missions.- Held contractor accountable for significant aircraft damage after personally uncovering damage.
