Transitioned out of the military with 12 years of experience, 7 of those years being leadership experience. I have led small, medium and large groups through challenging situations after extensive training. I have a combined total of 39 months combat time served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. From that I have learned how to perform in high-stress situations and look for solutions outside of the expected and normal. After getting out of the military in 2016, I worked a number of different jobs in different fields trying to find where I fit, I was seeking my niche in the workforce. I am proud to announce that after a number of months researching and planning, I started my own company, Freedom Windows! I ran Freedom Windows for just over 6 years, successfully installing thousands of IGU’s and replacement windows into homes across the metroplex! We were blessed to have some truly amazing customers that contributed to our success by spreading our good work by word of mouth and also allowing us to run minimal marketing. Even as wonderful as Freedom Windows was, it was time for a change. I missed being a part of something bigger than myself, missed the unit camaraderie and the esprit de corps that I had from my time in the military. Into civil service at the Carrollton Police Department!!I have my undergraduate at Post University in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and through this I have interest in marketing, advertising, and small business procurement.
