Outreach Coordinator and Breast Health Navigator for a combined Avon Foundation for Women and Maryland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® grant program. Taught breast health classes to women and men in the community.  Responsibilities included preparing grant proposals and follow-up reports to grant foundations, maintaining the budget for the Avon Foundation for Women Grant, educating women on the importance of breast health, assisting patients in finding funding for their breast health procedures and treatments, and assisting patients in completing and filing applications for additional care.  Produced marketing materials for monthly clinic publication. Chairperson for the 2012 Meritus Health Designer Cup Challenge event to help raise money for breast health awareness, and collaborating to design the marketing material for the event.

Responsible for accepting approximately $10,000 a day from multiple offices around the military base.  Prepare daily accounting reports to account for funds. Responsible for maintaining safe with base wide MWR funds and preparing funds for deposit.  Performed various office administration duties.

Responsible for supervising the installation of and training new employees on the new digital mammography equipment at the Auburn MultiCare Clinic. Responsibilities included performing quality mammography exams, including breast biopsies, overseeing and performing the quality control program, primary contact for all ACR, FDA, and physicist inspections, as well as licensing and certifications.  Involved in RFP process for new equipment. PACS and Epic superuser.

Contract employee to Womack Army Medical Center by Spectrum Healthcare Resources.  Responsible for training and supervising radiology students in radiology procedures and workflow processes in a digital environment.  Involved in all aspects of the radiology department to include diagnostic imaging, fluoroscopy, portable radiology, and c-arm procedures.

Per diem Radiology Technologist. Performed radiology, fluoroscopy, C-Arm, and portable procedures as ordered by physicians mostly in an ER setting. Trained students daily during my shifts.

Performed mammography, DEXA scans, radiology, and fluoroscopy procedures.  Assumed duties as lead mammography technologist during extended medical leave of department personnel to include the quality control program.  Prepare films for radiologists, filed films, and prepared reports to be delivered to requesting physicians. Trained at this facility to perform mammography and DEXA scans in 1999.

Lead technologist for hospitals off-site clinic.  Performed radiology, c-arm, and fluoroscopy procedures at small regional hospital.   Acted as office supervisor coordinating reception, file room, and scheduling tasks. Performed mammography procedures on a per diem basis in 2001-2002.

Performed radiology and fluoroscopy procedures.  Responsible for various department functions including hazardous materials coordinator, floor supervisor, and supply manager. Performed training on radiation safety and other radiology department procedures and protocols to other departments in the hospital and clinics where I was stationed.  Learned small group management and conflict resolution skills. Stationed at Fort Jackson, SC, Fort Sam Houston, TX, Fort Lewis, WA, and Fort Huachuca, AZ.  Honorable Discharge from active duty in 1996, and from inactive reserves in 2002. Trained as a combat medic to perform basic lifesaving skills; and as a radiology technologist to perform various radiology procedures and other modalities. Classroom training at Fort Sam Houston, TX, and clinical training at Madigan Army Medical Center at Fort Lewis, WA. I was also trained on one of the first PACS in the country.
