CurrentAs a paralegal, I manage attorney dockets to ensure deadlines and responsibilities are met efficiently. I review case files and collaborate with attorneys on statuses, upcoming deadlines, and strategies. My role includes preparing for legal proceedings such as client meetings, depositions, mediations, pre-trial conferences, and trials.I draft various legal documents, including letters, briefs, memorandums, discovery requests and responses, petitions, motions, and subpoenas. Filing and e-filing these documents in compliance with court rules and deadlines is a critical part of my work. I also maintain and organize client files, both digital and physical, for effective case management.Regular client communication is integral to my role. I provide updates, gather necessary information, and deliver exceptional service. My professionalism has earned a positive reputation with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and colleagues, contributing to consistent client satisfaction and retention.My achievements underscore the quality of my work. I have prepared numerous discovery requests and responses in family law and civil litigation with minimal corrections. My career includes over 200+ hours of legal research, including summarizing client records and trial materials. I have drafted a wide range of legal documents, such as petitions, parenting plans, affidavits, orders, motions, and summary judgments, across multiple legal areas. My research has identified critical case points that attorneys have successfully used in trials. Additionally, I independently manage subpoena drafting, service, and related research to ensure compliance and accuracy.Beyond casework, I support firm operations by covering front desk duties and answering phones when necessary, ensuring professional service to clients and visitors. I also adapt to other responsibilities as needed to meet the firm’s and clients’ requirements.
