Over the past 18 years I have worked as an Environmental Scientist within the upstream oil and gas and urban industry sectors throughout Alberta and British Columbia. During this time I have completed assessment, remediation, and reclamation work of various scales and complexities ranging from a couple thousand to several million in cost over a period of a few weeks and years pending complexity of the site. I have worked in various capacities including but not limited to client lead, project management, business development, technical, corporate and site safety management/lead, ground disturbance supervisor, site supervisor, prime contractor, contractor management, mentor, and trainer. Most of my experience and preference has been field based, either assisting others with their client portfolio or managing and working on my own. Some related experience includes client liaison, site review and planning, work plan and cost estimate preparation, resourcing contractors, materials and management of such, site preparation and logistical planning, budget tracking, mentoring, and vetting staff, sample collection, monitoring, QA/QC, data interpretation, entry, and technical reporting. These attributes have helped me streamline and increase operating efficiency through innovative and cost-effective approaches and processes, boosting overall productivity while maintaining client sustainability.I am used to working for extended periods of time in all kinds of weather under the least favorable conditions away from home, either as a team or independently.I am a hands-on individual who grasps concepts and procedures quickly, and with precision. My keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational and leadership skills have helped me effectively and efficiently communicate, prioritize tasks, diagnose and resolve problems quickly. My wheelhouse, involves old, complex, multisource area, and messed up sites that no one else wants to deal with.
