Product Manager with experience working in entrepreneurial and more traditional corporate environments, working closely with business stakeholders and facing the customer, end-to-end development of physical and digital products, embedded with cross-functional teams, and as an independent consultant. I’m the one that grew up asking every adult in the room questions, and on some level, I never grew out of asking “Why?”. Always trying to figure out why things work the way they do, can it be done better? Looking at something from more than one perspective; why is the campaign run a particular way, and why do people buy when they do? If all roads lead to Rome, why are you taking that one?Everyone has their “why”, what motivates them to do what they do, how they do it.-I like to solve problems and leave things better off than when I found them. The latter you can attribute to my time in the Scouts (always leave a campsite better than you found it)-Collaborating with people unlike yourself. Its easier to learn new things when approached by someone with a different skill set.-Slow to speak, but quick to listen. Growing up with a stutter, I wasn’t always able to convey my thoughts into words. I know some people have that same difficulty. Great ideas come from everywhere, but it’s up to us to listen for them. -Embrace the Fail. You learn more from failure than winning. It’s the only way to improve and get better. When you train your body, you train the muscle to failure, not success. Only then does it come back stronger. I’m always open to connect socially and professionally.
