Team lead of 10-15 enthusiastic and passionate professionals who primarily work on the major water related issues in the Netherlands such as flood risk management and water quality (European Water Framework Directive).

As senior project lead I support clients with preparing the required environmental planning and permitting documentation to obtain their license-to-operate.

In my role as Development Lead I am supporting several global programs at Arcadis. These programs are aimed at improving collaboration, operations and overall performance. My role consists of different elements. I contribute to strategy development and monitoring, preparing documents for the Executive Leadership Team and Supervisory Board amongst others. As Development Lead I have an instrumental role in the internal communications of these programs, having gained significant experience in Sharepoint, Yammer etc. This resulted in increased understanding of these programs and its impacts as well as enabling colleagues to easily tap into knowledge and expertise across the globe. I have worked on multiple thought leadership pieces like podcasts about the Future of Workplace and Data Analytics and Statements of Qualification for Ports, Operations & Maintenance and Resilient Cities showcasing how our expertise can help clients. Finally I am responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the program.

As project manager Planning & Strategy I am responsible for the coordination and delivery of strategic environmental planning documents like Environmental and Social Impact Assessments. In doing so my team and I help clients understand the full environmental and social impact of their plans, in addition to meeting local regulatory requirements. Whether these plans are infrastructure projects or commercial developments, my team and I make sure clients receive all necessary environmental and social licenses in order to realize their goals.

Supporting the roll-out of a European collaboration program for master planning and sustainable urban development. This program aims to align our offering in different European countries by leveraging our European expertise. Responsible for organizing the team meetings, creating of marketing material and supporting bids.

In my role as assistant projectmanager I am responsible for the writing of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) throughout the Netherlands. Also I assist the projectmanager by keeping in touch with, and giving instructions to, ARCADIS' specialists who carry out research for these EIA's.The projects I work on are very diverse, both in scale as in subject. They range from small local projects (the development of an industrial estate) to large projects on a national scale (such as the enlargement of a shipping lane). The clients I work for are both public as private sector.

Master thesis research on possibilities of regional collaboration between stakeholders when redeveloping railway stations in the province of Noord-Brabant, the Netherlands;

Responsible for exploring the possibilities of the Spatial Planning Act of 2008 for the development of Integrated Service Areas in the Netherlands. With the new Spatial Planning Act it has become possible for municipalities to recover the development costs of general services on private developers.

Arnhem

I contributed to a study which looked into the effects of provincial instruments aimed at the realisation of provincial housing policies. I conducted interviews with officials of six municipalities and six housing associations throughout the province of Gelderland. The information I recovered from these interviews was used in the evaluation of the provincial instruments.
