While I am known for exceeding expectations through vision and strategy, I also love developing cross-functional teams. One of the biggest risks that I took in my career was hiring a musician to work in product development. Although my current employees were regularly meeting and surpassing metrics, we needed someone with an artistic mindset to play a key role in the product roadmap’s problem/solution phase. I contracted a musician for 30 days and immediately saw the impact on the way our team thought. The contractor turned full-time employee helped us recognize simple things that we historically overlooked, which instantly resonated with our customers. Lesson learned: You need to challenge the norms to build revolutionary teams and processes that lead to profitable outcomes. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄With hard work and tenacity, I have grown into a leader that delivers exceptional products and solutions for operational needs. From the beginning of my career, I have been promoted into roles with increasing responsibility and oversight while receiving multiple company-wide awards.
