RESPONSIBILITIES: Principal affiliate leader, who plans, develops and establishes policies and objectives for the organization in accordance with board directives and organizational mission. This is the top executive in the organization, reporting to the Board of Directors and must be the affiliate’s Habitat expert.PURPOSE: The Executive Director, in accordance with the objectives, policies and directives set forth by the affiliate Board of Directors provides overall executive leadership for the Affiliate and ReStore. Responsibilities include: supervision and mentoring of paid staff; maintaining and enhancing the infra-structure of the affiliate; serving as the primary communication link among directors, officers, committees and volunteers; networking with community partners; serving as the public face and corporate spokesperson for Habitat Osceola; providing the necessary management to ensure that the whole organization runs smoothly and effectively while carrying out the goals and objectives of mission. Oversee the Affiliate's Paid and Volunteer Personnel • Develop and support mutual expectations with board and committee chairs through annual retreat and monthly meetings and reports • Upon budget approval, employ, supervise and evaluate paid staff members• Oversee the orientation, training, evaluation and nurturance of board members, volunteers and staff, to help ensure that they are making worthwhile and fulfilling contributions to the work of the affiliate

Directed the Volunteer Services program for the region covering twenty-two central Pennsylvania counties. Headed recruitment, retention, recognition, and evaluation of more than 1,500 volunteers to support all Red Cross lines of service within the region.* Provide dynamic leadership. Develop and engage subordinate staff by setting clear vision with expected outcomes, provided tools and guidance to achieve success.* Create collaboration. Assessed needs across lines of service, identified commonality and built shared accountability.* Demonstrate Financial Accountability. Developed, implemented, and monitored department budget, ensured adherence.* Implement Best Practices. Researched and identified best practices locally, across the country, and across volunteer organizations, planned and implemented practices suited to specific needs.

Directed chapter operations. County Administrator:- Directed all county communications both internal and external.- Negotiated and managed all contracts and grants.- Clearly documented all policies and procedures.- Delivered successful implementation of the Help America Vote Act, including technology deployment, grant writing and acquisition.Director of Technology:- Directed the county's existing and new technology initiatives.- Provided high-level project management involving business process management across multiple agencies, system integration among departments and agencies, and relationship management.- Created IT standardization, and developed effective partnerships with external IT contractors and consultants.- Implemented and managed county wide Voice over IP telephony system.- Created end user documentation for all systems.

The Fulton County Partnership is a collaborative effort of consumers and service providers working to address the needs of Fulton County residents through an integrated, collaborative, and comprehensive system of health, education, and human services in Fulton County.- Managed P&L accountability, budgetary/fiscal management and development.- Developed over $1.5 million in grant dollars.- Headed all marketing and public relations efforts.- Oversaw development and implementation of all programs including; Medical Assistance Transportation Program, Employment Transportation Assistance Program, Dental Clinic, TRUCE program, Influenza Vaccination program, Health and Safety Expo, HelpLine, Al's Pals, Safe Kids, American Community Survey Pilot Program, and Penn State Data Center Affiliate. - Directed recruitment, supervision, and development of staff.
