• Simplified project initiation and approval process to have a consistent streamlined entry, allowing for better prioritization of resources and communication of project status.
• Led consolidation of facility engineering teams within the operations support team. Drove consistent processes and support across both assets.

• Led a team of 18 engineers focused on addressing operational issues with engineering solutions and supporting day to day operations for Surmont a 150k bbl/d SAGD facility. Managed an annual project budget of $25M+.
• Integrated Green House Gas reduction metrics into opportunity approval process by collaborating with the portfolio team; allowed for projects to be evaluated on their economic merits as well as their emission reduction.
• Led the evaluation of Cogen retrofit on SAGD facility to reduce Green House Gases, conducted initial feasibility study, developed estimate and economics then presented recommendation to continue studying the opportunity.
• Implemented small energy efficiency and Green House Gas reduction projects supporting energy transition goals.

• Responsible for project integration and development through multi-functional teams to deliver concepts and solutions fur the Surmont Asset. The three key projects are Diluent Recovery Unit, Alternate Diluent Program.
• DRU project: Responsible to support development of the Diluent Recovery Unit Project up to RFA, included integrating groups in Calgary, Houston, Bartlesville, Ok, and vendors to deliver a solution competitive with.
• Alternate Diluent Program: Responsible for bringing multi-functional teams together to evaluate and develop multiple concepts for alternate blending at Surmont and bring these through the approval process. Program is.
• Future Phase Early FEL: developed and evaluated multiple concepts including a new expansion at the Surmont development with a 4th train. Lead a multi-function/discipline team that had the responsibility of managing.

• Responsible to coordinate the integration between the functions and the Joint Venture partner for development of a 120 k bbl/d SAGD facility during project execution to commissioning and start-up.
• Led corporate approvals including supplement approvals, built alignment within the business unit and with corporate to continue to progress the project. Included coordinating project, resource and economic updates.
• Managed integration of multiple small development projects related to well pads including novel buffer wells and outboard well pair developments. These projects added resource and increased production for the facility.

• Coordinated qualitative and quantitative risk analysis sessions for the project.
