What brings me joy at work is empowering users with technologies and bridging gaps in the organization. I am at my best when I am able to act as an advocate for users and customers by being the focal point between leadership, technical teams, and change management. In 9 years, I have worn different hats such as program operations management, project management, IT support, systems training, change management, and regulatory compliance. I love learning new tools at my workplace and am experienced with the following: Atlassian Jira, Smartsheet, Adobe Captivate, Cherwell Service Management, Granicus Amanda, Avolve ProjectDox, web- and cloud-based applications, MS Office Suite, and Google Suite.Lastly, I have a proven track record of incorporating equity principles into my work. I have helped build processes for communities that have less access to technology; served as an equity committee member; and pushed leadership to make work culture changes supporting people of color. I also wrote "Emotional Labor and Women of Color in the Workplace: A Reality Check", an article that has made its way to social justice discussions at the national level.
