As a graduate research assistant at Georgia State University, I applied my skills and knowledge in actuarial science and risk management to various projects and tasks. One of the most recent and impactful projects I have worked on is a sprint project for Novo Insurance, a company owned by Telenav, Inc., a leading provider of connected car and location-based services.In this project, I collaborated with fellow research assistants to analyze and optimize the pricing and underwriting models of Novo Insurance, using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques. We also communicated our findings and recommendations to the company's executives and stakeholders, using effective and persuasive presentation skills. Through this experience, I have developed and demonstrated my analytical, problem-solving, and communication competencies, as well as my ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.I earned a Master of Science in Quantitative Risk Analysis and Management in December 2023 at Georgia State University, where I also completed my Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science in May 2022. I am passionate about learning and applying quantitative methods and tools to address complex and real-world challenges in the insurance and financial sectors. My goal is to become a certified and qualified actuary who can contribute to the innovation and growth of these industries.
