ICT Networks is Australia’s only network integrator specialising in the Design, Integration and support of Juniper Network’s complete range of Network, Security, Mobility & Wireless solutions.At ICT Networks I was given exposure to large corporate networking and given the freedom to design and develop solutions to meet the challenges they presented.Furthering my work into network monitoring and automation, I developed several software packages leveraging open source software to deliver intricate network and system monitoring solutions for networks ranging from a single router (monitored from a small embedded ARM processor platforms) to large broadcast networks with hundreds of devices monitored from a cluster of virtual servers with multiple ElasticSearch storage nodes.When not on the frontline I was heavily involved in all levels of help desk support ranging from call taking to working with senior engineers and product specialists on code, implementation and feature request issues. Having qualifications and experience in most network areas, a strong Linux background and sound troubleshooting techniques I was a valuable resource in trouble shooting the entire Juniper portfolio as well as anything Linux, Cisco or Windows related.

Sports Climbing Australia (SCA), formed in 2005, is the internationally recognised body responsible for the administration of sports climbing in Australia. The SCA works to encourage all levels of climbers, from the beginner to the elite, and holds regular competitions for members to participate in.I have bought my IT skills to the board this year working closely with other members to redevelop the SCA website, introduce a new membership database and provide general IT support when needed.In my "spare time" I help with competition organisation, judging and supervision.
