My project focused on the role of mammalian proteins in viral life cycle inhibition. Over the course of my time in this position, I have learned proper sterile techniques and have gained experience working in biosafety cabinets. I primarily performed SDS-PAGE and western blotting to measure protein levels in HeLa cells and began work on using siRNA to knockdown the expression of target proteins.

I have been a summer seasonal team member at target for a couple of years now. My roles in this position have varied between customer focused and managing front end tasks.
