Working as a logistics Intern, I worked directly under the General Manager focusing on the operations of the distribution centers of Bridgestone. Sitting-in on meetings, dealing with problem-solving, and daily to weekly progress updates. During my time, I worked on three different projects: a group project, an individual project, and daily projects. I worked on cost/benefit analyses, tracking shipments and BKO reports for all the distribution centers, and created a 6 week trending report for in-house products. At the end of my internship, I had to present my research and findings to the SVP and the other heads of the LSCM department.
