From my earliest memories, I have always remembered some type of technology being in my life. From the iPod touch to the first laptop I used, I have always been fascinated with the intricacies of technology. Growing up with the access to technology that I had, I was drawn to the tech field instantly. When deciding where to go to college after school, I chose Kennesaw State University. An amazing school with one of the best engineering programs in Georgia. As I was going through my freshman year studying Software Engineering, I soon realized that college was not what I needed to be in the place I envisioned myself. I had done some research into different paths I could take, debating if college was where I wanted to be. After a few hard weeks of thinking about it, I decided to take a risky jump and withdraw from KSU.Knowing I would need to do something to educate myself further in the IT field, I started doing certifications during my final semester at KSU, and loved it. The freedom it gave me to learn the content at my own pace, while allowing me to hold a full time job, I knew it was the correct path for me. Currently, I have my CompTIA ITF+ certification, and will be earning my CompTIA A+ certification within the next couple of months. I plan on going through CompTIA's cyber security pathway, then branching out to other Certification Providers once within the cybersecurity field.While everyone says things like "My goal in life is to leave an impact on the world" or "I want to make the world a better place", my goal in life is to ensure that myself and the people around me have a higher quality of life than if I was not here. I do not care to make a change in the world, if I can make a change to the people around me.
