As a senior furniture product designer for this company, I am responsible for developing new furniture products under various brands, such as TRICONVILLE for outdoor furniture targeting the global market, and Dezign District for indoor furniture catering to Indonesia and Malaysia. Working from the headquarters in Semarang, I oversee the entire research and development process, from conceptualization to creating product samples and preparing them for mass production. One of the exciting aspects of my role is the need for effective communication, ensuring that the factory's sample makers receive accurate design instructions, while also collaborating with the rendering division to obtain precise digital imagery for visual representation.This list describes my job in general:- Creating new concept designs and presenting them to the team leader for discussion.- Sourcing new materials and hardware for the product designs.- Collaborating with the engineering team and sample makers to refine the design and ensure optimal construction.- Maintaining material stock and coordinating with the purchasing and logistics division for any necessary material procurement.- Utilizing Solidworks for creating realistic visual product designs, followed by rendering them using Keyshot render.- Generating technical drawings required for product sampling and communicating with the engineering team and sample makers during the sample production process.- Compiling final specifications for manufacturing data.- Sharing the finalized 3D CAD models with the rendering team for further discussion and producing the final renderings and ambiance
