The main responsibility of this job is to build and improve the existing web applications for the Knowledge Bank of the university's libraries. The responsibilities include : 1. Assisting with development of new features, fixes and improvements of the knowledge bank.2. Building an application on Groovy on Grails to consume Person web services (SOAP/REST) and import data into the library catalog.3.Ensuring that websites are ADA accessible4.Building/enhancing the REST API for library digital asset repositories, or building a REST-API client application to the repository focusing on pleasant user experience. 5. Metric driven performance improvements to logic/algorithms.Technologies Used: JAVA, Groovy on Grails, DSpace, SOAP & REST API's. Platform : Ubuntu-Linux
