I am a sophomore at the University of Illinois Chicago majoring in Finance, with minors in Mathematics and Management Information Systems. I have a strong ambition to work in investment banking and high finance, as the industry matches my competitive nature, ambition for financial knowledge, and strategic decision-making skills.My career in finance began with internships at ITI Fund and KORA LLC, where I gained invaluable insights to the world of Venture Capital and advance financial analysis. At ITI Fund, I contributed over 400 hours to due diligence efforts, including cash-flow forecasting, internal auditing, and comps evaluation. Notably, I also assisted and co-lead the investment director's market research campaigns and collaborated with the team on a high six-figure equity financing deal. At KORA LLC, I honed my skills in deal sourcing and evaluation. I efficiently sourced and funneled deals, conducted thorough legal reviews, and performed in-depth financial analysis. Additionally, I developed automated scenario analysis systems using Excel to enhance deal evaluation.These experiences, combined with my involvement with Cross-Country Network and UIC-related positions (Portfolio Management Team, Quantitative Trading Club) have solidified my passion for finance and my commitment to making a positive impact. Through these internships, I gained valuable insights into the world of finance, developed strong relationships with industry professionals, and developed further appreciation towards finance. Demonstrating a strong academic foundation and active campus involvement, I was awarded a merit scholarship valued at $40,000+.
