As Parliamentarian for UT Austin's Black Student Alliance Freshman Action Team (F.A.T.), I played a critical role in ensuring order, interpreting our constitution, and supporting our board's mission to empower Black freshmen by addressing academic, social, and political issues. I upheld Robert's Rules of Order to guide meetings effectively and facilitated election processes, ensuring they adhered to our constitutional guidelines. Additionally, I organized community service events, promoted academic excellence within the team, and worked closely with faculty and staff to foster a supportive environment for Black freshmen.
