Hello! My name is Turner Uyeda and I'm a Junior Engineer at HMH.My interest in civil engineering was sparked by my time spent playing Cities: Skylines, a city building simulator video game released in 2015. For me, there was nothing quite like the satisfaction of watching a building rise from the ground up, a bridge span across a river, or a traffic intersection finally starting to function properly after hours of troubleshooting.Civil engineering allows me to transform the passion that grew from a digital world into tangible structures in the real world that stand as testaments to human ingenuity and progress, and I am very excited to be one small part of that advancement.
