I joined Cradlepoint as an Engineering Manager for the Modem Team. It was a unique position, combining Product Management and Engineering Management responsibilities. Following my promotion to Director, I was responsible for managing sustaining engineering for Cradlepoint's Linux-based embedded operating system with a global engineering team. I then moved into Product Management, where I oversaw cellular connectivity across the entire router portfolio.

Joined MetaGeek as its first software developer, charged with diagnosing and fixing a nasty USB bug and providing an online support presence. Helped build the company, and grew myself into an executive and partner, wearing many different hats along the way, often at the same time.• Set company vision, strategy and market focus and cultural anchors• Responsible for cash and debt management strategy• Recruited, hired and led growth of in-house and contract engineering organization• Managed in-house and contract hardware/firmware product development• Managed software product lifecycle for multiple desktop, mobile, and web applications• Co-developed Chanalyzer software. Issued 4 U.S. Patents for features in this application• Created InSSIDer brand, MetaGeek's most recognized brand with over 5 million users worldwide
