Public Credit Designing & building tools to guide and monitor investment portfolios using SQL, React and Python libraries such as pandas and numpy. Collaborating with Portfolio Managers and Quant Researchers in the development and implementation of portfolio analytics that produce value added insight in the risk and return characteristics of the portfolio. Applying programming expertise, optimization, linear algebra or numerical analysis techniques to ensure robustness of algorithms and code. Analyzing and making recommendations on topics such as investment research, data engineering, portfolio construction and management, back testing, and transaction cost analysis.

As a Business Analyst at Multimatic, I am accountable for the identification of opportunities within IT Operations to automate manual and repetitive tasks leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform. I am responsible for the maintenance of existing automation use cases within the Microsoft Power site as well as the identification and development of new automation use cases. In addition, I am also responsible for the development and testing of enhancements and scripts.

During the summer months of 2020, while in the midst of quarantine, I applied for a business-based program known as BETA camp. I was accepted and began attending weekly sessions which taught me so much about starting, owning, and operating a business. Through this program, I have been able to meet a variety of individuals in the business field such as Kevin Kim, founder of Stadium Live, and Ran Shulman, growth manager at Skip the Dishes. Additionally, this program has enabled me to find my very own start-up team and taught us the basics of creating a small business. Currently, my team and I have just completed our first batch of orders for our travel mystery boxes and are excited to get started on the second shipment. We are excited to continue growing as much as possible!

My State of Mind is an international student-led community aiming to fight global mental health taboos, as well as advocating for mental health issues in our ever-evolving society. As the national director of Canada, I work with a team of individuals to create new awareness campaigns and launch them at an international level.

The IBT (International Business Technology) program promotes the learning of business fundamentals, technological developments and the international effect these two elements have on society. It is a program that has allowed me to experience a variety of unique experiences such as, leadership conferences, teamwork seminars, mock business case studies, and so much more. These experiences have enriched my high school experience and inspired me to join the IBT executive team. As the IBT executive president, I manage a variety of members to plan, promote and execute activities that all IBT students can enjoy.

As the Co-Director of Engagement, my goals vary from increasing Simply Neuroscience’s productivity to helping members to remain focused, engaged, and enthusiastic.

As a member of the marketing department, my goals vary from increasing Simply Neuroscience’s brand awareness to helping create newsletters regarding new developments and projects we are working on. As a member of the marketing department, one of my primary objectives was to work on initiatives to promote mental health awareness, creating a supportive neuroscience community and spread awareness regarding the non-profit (by completing tasks such as running the Simply Neuroscience Twitter).

I am a member of my school's DECA trainers which involves educating DECA members regarding the basics of business along with exam and roleplay tips (in order to enable their success).

I have been a part of DECA since 2017 and during that time I have learned an abundance of valuable skills such as communication, creativity, and teamwork. Additionally, I have been competing at the provincial level for three years now.

Through HOSA I have been able to work with like-minded, ambitious individuals, and learn an abundance regarding the health science fields and professions. I have also had the opportunity to supplement my HOSA experience by meeting incredible women in STEM who studied internationally. The experience of meeting these individuals allowed me to see how many unique opportunities to make a change there are in this world, and how it is necessary to be passionate regarding your dreams.
