Resiliency is both armor and innervoice for my survival as a black man navigating a world unjustly crafted to seek my compliance or erasure. I use resilience through bridging artistic disciplines and industry involvement including poetry, freelance and session work, music production, event curation, artist booking, arts education and administration, and business development. Leveraging these tools to build a meaningfully sustainable pathway to creatively express my voice allows me to grow as a well-informed artist and community member. Connection is a value that upholds my creative expression. I believe my purpose in the world is to see the humanity in people and truly enjoy life.
