Developing a web-interface for the creation of automatic email signatures. This included the use of packages like Jinja, sqlite and Flask. It also included programming in Java, bash, css and HTML. Used SQL to create a database where the signatures where saved for a certain limited amount of time, depending on use (f.e. signature for a specific event). Also created automatic image modifying scripts, to reduce and optimize image size to reduce mail size. Furthermore created a user interface for easy uploading, including previews.

  • Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft
    Internal Researcher
    Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft Apr 2019 - Dec 2019
    Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
I did research on the Segré–Silberberg effect using several types of microparticles. This included doing experiments and working in laboratories. I also helped design the microfluidic chip which was used for the experiments and I also worked on the fabrication of this chip. Furthermore, have I conducted the data analysis using software like LabVIEW, and writing my own programs in bash and python. Apart from that I have used computers which were running on Linux (Red Hat and CentOS). Furthermore, I have used various types of optical microscopes, to for example measure the chips channel height, or to check the particles for their fluorescence. I have also created mixtures of particles, for which I calculated the concentrations. I also simulated the fluidics in COMSOL. This project was mostly conducted in German, but also partly in English.
  • Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft
    Software Developer
    Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft Dec 2018 - Mar 2019
    Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
I worked on the object recognition of cells, which can be used for CTC detection. This included analyzing the measurement signal from two (color) channels, and two measurement points, so in total four signals per object. I created an algorithm in python and worked a small amount in C and the FPGA programming language VHDL. After the separation of noise and objects, the objects are given properties and classified based on their signals. Various python modules e.g. pandas have been used, but also Threading and Queuing is used. Sequence and UML diagrams have been created.
  • Meditta
    Data Analyst
    Meditta Jul 2018 - Aug 2018
