Commanded the Marine Corps’ sole squadron where all CH-46E helicopter pilots and crew chiefs were trained. Supervised and provided oversight of 200 Marines, instructors, and support personnel in administration, operations, logistics, safety, aircraft maintenance, and security. Maintained and operated 20, multi-million-dollar helicopters that were over 40 years old. Trained over 50 new pilots and 60 crew chiefs while flying over 7,000 mishap-free hours. Flew the final check-ride for a last designated CH-46E Helicopter Second Pilot in 2012, effectively shutting down the training pipeline as the Marine Corps transitioned to the V-22 Osprey.
