Conduct out of perimeter security patrols during conditions of raised threat levels.

United States

Worked collaboratively with Northrup Grumman and as a Liaison to the Californian Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CalFire) as a UAS Tech Demonstration Lead for the optionally piloted aircraft (MUAV) Firebird; conducting test flights to gather system data and limitations, surveillance and target acquisition via a vast array of sensors to include the FLIR Star SAFIRE 380 HLD and TK-9 Earthwatch. Performed Line of Sight (LoS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) operations via Tactical Common Data Link (TCDL), KU-Band SATCOM and Iridium narrowband link respectively. Utilized SWIR, NIR, MWIR, LWIR and RGB sensors on TK-9 Earthwatch to scan and assess terrain in flight path. On-site troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical system components to include on-board avionics, payloads, cables and circuit boards.

Afghanistan

Held responsibility as site operational lead for aerostat maintenance, operations and readiness status in support of mission-critical intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) operations for Department of Defense (DoD) Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) and Intelligence Community (IC) customers. Deliver “eyes in the sky” capabilities for the Pentagon, CIA, and Afghan Ministry of Defense (AMoD) via MX-series cameras, enabling full observation of entire area of operations to augment force protection and battlefield coordination capabilities and provide an integrated, seamless transition across DoD, IC, and AMoD assets. Perform avionics data logging, air- / ground-based sensor data compilation, diesel engine maintenance, software troubleshooting, fiber optics splicing, cable soldering, chip-set installation, testing, and repair.

Kuwait

Serving jointly as a Force Protection Officer and Project Administrator , managed personnel actions for 600+ personnel; provided armed over-watch for joint NATO forces, performing access control for secured military facilities.
