My current research focus is better understanding training methods in elite level show jumping horses. I use various research methods to analyze sporting performance in equine athletes competing at the national and international levels. The main application of this research is to improve sports performance and reduce injury risk through training program optimization and a better understanding of jumping mechanics.My PhD research examined how humans integrate information to successfully navigate through complex environments. Specifically, examining the efficacy of different training paradigms designed to improve dual-task integration and performance.
