I first started my journey into the geo-science field in 2006 when I joined the Marine Corps. I was a geospatial intelligence analyst, which means I was a GIS analysts, a remote sensing specialist, and a land surveyor. This then led to a job as working in the hot Texas hill country on a land surveying crew. I decided to go to school to get my degree. In August of 2017 I graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Geology, and a minor in Geophysics. I also started my own drone service company at that time with a desire to map. I got into filming and videography from drones and have found that I can have a creative artsy side. Throughout this time I was constantly honing my skills as a drone pilot while I discovered my place in the industry. In 2018 I came on as an instructor for Drone U teaching flight mastery courses, which led to me teaching mapping courses, and consulting for companies looking to establish brand new sUAS programs or just expand on already established programs.
