Senior Production Manager
Current• Responsible for the efficient and safe manufacturing of quality products /meeting time sensitive customer orders• Maintain entire operation of assigned area, including safety, production yields, quality, team member relations, turn over/absenteeism, discipline, payroll, staffing and line speeds. Quick and decisive judgements made daily• Managed production process in its entirety: Lead four department head managers and their teams; overcome non-routine issues while ensuring assets are utilized in the most advantageous manner for the company• Provide Supervisors with information, materials, and training, enabling them to produce the highest quality product possible; monitoring records for attendance, payroll, production, safety and ergonomics• Daily operation of my assigned area of responsibility; analyzing opportunities and presenting detailed recommendations/solutions to leadership and/or initiating on the spot determinations • Oversaw and enforced humane slaughter practices, animal wellbeing programs and CFR9 compliance• Ensures processing supervisors are equipped with the necessary information and materials to produce quality product safely and efficiently. Verifies compliance and enforces Tyson policies and USDA federal regulations. • Ensures all supervisors are trained in various aspects of production. Increase line managers focus on areas in need of improvement. Spot checks processes, provides guidance to improve mechanical and labor effectiveness• Responds to customer complaints, investigates root cause develops and implements preventative measures
