Responsible for supporting the Director of Operations (DOO) with executing and sustaining operational excellence. Provide ongoing leadership and support to employees, working with the DOO to increase employee job performance, engagement, and satisfaction. Support successful execution of KCC’s strategic operations by ensuring key stakeholders have all needed information and resources, removing barriers, maximizing coordination across functional areas, optimizing the organization’s operations (e.g., people, processes, and tools), gathering and managing key performance indicators (KPIs), and working with the DOO to ensure stakeholder expectations are met.Employ, supervise, train, coach/develop, and evaluate professional staff, specifically three direct reports, in addition to interns, volunteers, and youth workers. Develop and lead new and expanded programs in collaborative, fast-paced environment during the immense growth of the KCC over the next several years. Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs and initiatives, identifying, and implementing process improvements maximizing output and minimizing costs while maintaining quality.

Management and supervision of the Beloit College Upward Bound program to ensure the program meets the established goals, objectives, and federal guidelines; tasks include, but are not limited to, overseeing the academic year component and a summer program of academic and cultural/career enrichment, management of student enrollment and records, the completion of the Annual Performance Report, and student assessment initiatives; employ, supervise, train, and evaluate all full-time (2) and part-time (1) professional staff, part-time instructional staff, summer staff, and Beloit College students involved in the Upward Bound program

Ten-month immersive fellowship program gaining knowledge and experience in policy research, coalition building, and learning to navigate the region’s political and economic arenas from a host of legislators, community advocates, and business leaders across Delaware.

Work closely with faculty and staff to envision, design, and implement initiatives to improve retention rates; identify and develop strategies to remove barriers to student success and retention; collaborate with Student Affairs in managing the student concern report system and the early intervention program; represent the Office of the Provost and Dean on committees related to academic standing, advising, and resources; oversee student support services, including the Office of Academic Skills and Disability Services, the Quantitative Skills Center, and the Writing Center

Promote internships and other experiential learning opportunities; collaborate to create internship opportunities; administer job-shadowing program; manage signature internships; work with departments and programs to develop and implement dual degree or post-grad study opportunities; administer budgets for all funding for students for job shadowing, internships, and research

Coordinator for the Washington Scholars Program which provides a full tuition, room, and board scholarship to high achieving, high need students for 4 years; works closely with the Director on a variety of initiatives designed to support and retain historically underrepresented student populations at Washington College as it pertains to gender, race, ethnicity, ability, sexual orientation, class, and citizenship status, and other aspects of identity; provides programs designed to increase awareness, education, and competency across campus related to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Develop and implement the Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) for youth ages 10-14 with a focus on bike safety, leadership, and community service; build relationships in the community to engage as partners for the YEP; act as a role model and mentor for youth in the program

Responsible for managing and overseeing 9 community based programs designed to increase preventative behaviors in participants in the areas of substance abuse, health and wellness, and to provide advocacy services to victims and seniors; responsibilities also include staff supervision, ensuring program outcomes, leading contract negotiations, assisting in grant writing, managing program budgets, volunteer management, and expanding the organization's capacity to support the departments' prevention and advocacy programs

Provide oversight to enrichment programming serving students ages 12-17 by ensuring program quality; provide counselors with necessary resources for success; ensure all levels of compliance are met and fulfill all grant requirements; research, recommend, and implement enrichment activities and strategies delivering outcome based performance; work in cooperation with Credit Recovery Program Coordinator and Middle and High School Programs Manager to integrate the two programs serving teens; assist in recruitment

Coordinate trainings and presentations (including logistics) tailored to meet the needs of the community on topics of domestic violence intervention and prevention; administratively support the Domestic Violence Specialist Certification Program; serve as an information and training resource for staff and the community while assisting with community outreach, collaboration, and relationship building; provide support to local, organizational, state and/or national partners engaged in building primary prevention capacity and implementing and evaluating science-based prevention strategies

Review consumer credit card applications and credit reports to appropriately decision based on legal guidelines and in accordance with bank policy and lending practices; assist teammates in understanding of policies and procedures to ensure loan quality

Analyze existing consumer customer credit card accounts for signs of potential risk and fraud; appropriately action to ensure legitimate use of consumer accounts

Develop and implement educational programs; develop leadership skills and positive self awareness in children from underprivileged backgrounds; assist children with daily tasks such as homework, extracurricular and educational activities
