As the Lead Prevention Specialist for Someone Cares, Inc. of Atlanta I was responsible for strategizing and organizing the logistics of recruitment within our organization's priority population for STI prevention. Additionally, I was responsible for facilitating linkage to resources for care, retention activities, as well as behavioral interventions & counseling.

As an Amped Educator, I participated in a series of roles that helped to empower black and brown students in the East Baton Rouge Parish School System with organizing, civic engagement, and advocacy skills. I co-created and co-facilitated a mini-series of workshops dialoguing on topics of race and activism; additionally, I supported students, grades 6-12, with research and writing.

As a fellow, I engaged with the community by lobbying support for legislation pertaining to reproductive rights. I collaborated as an on-the-ground organizer on multiple campaigns and projects aimed at promoting health equity for marginalized populations. SparkRJ is a nonprofit organization that supports and mobilizes Queer and Trans People of Color (QTPOC) individuals/communities through reproductive justice.
