My mission is to spark curiousity and enthusiasm for exercise among clients to guide them on their life-long path toward good health and wellness. I also teach group exercise classes focused on athletic conditioning. From strength, endurance, and balance work to building the explosive power of muscles through challenging plyometric moves, my classes are geared to take fitness enthusiasts to the next level of training.

Kampala, Uganda

I was accepted under a CIDA IYIP internship. The Canadian Cooperative Association sent me to work with the Uganda Cooperative Alliance in Kampala, Uganda.While in Uganda, I was tasked with doing field visits with farming cooperatives in North Western Uganda. I developed and delivered training materials on soil and water conservation to small-scale farmers and farming co-ops in Nebbi (north western Ugand). I also focused on drafting and implementing an environmental policy at the Uganda Cooperative Alliance, my host organization in Kampala, Uganda. The main goal was to provide an incentives-based program for cooperatives to work toward environmentally sustainable production in their farming practices and to promote full scale organic production.Aside from working with CCA in Uganda, I had the opportunity to volunteer with the UNHCR as the Children's Activities Coordinator at a reception refugee camp in Kisoro, western Uganda, along the border of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
