Wayfinding College was an independent, nonprofit college at the heart of a movement to revolutionize higher education by turning the process frontwards and focusing on empowering and equipping individuals to live a purpose-driven life. I was honored to serve in this talented community and help further the mission in my capacity as marketing and communications director.

Clackamas, Oregon

I served as group marketing director for AANW Holdings (Airstream Adventures Northwest) - the world's largest Airstream dealer group with five West Coast locations.• Directed all aspects of B2C marketing for five Airstream dealerships on the West Coast and led a management team of seven• Established a system of marketing evaluation rooted in data and regular reporting of key metrics• Lowered marketing costs while improving marketing productivity, including an 80 percent increase in average monthly sales leads for the dealer group and a 24 percent reduction in average monthly marketing budget• Exceeded goals in moving Key Performance Indicators, including a 200 percent increase in the conversion of website visits to sales leads, a 135 percent reduction in marketing cost per sales lead and a 32 percent reduction in marketing cost per new unit sold• Prepared, tracked and reported on annual departmental budget allocated over five regional markets• Performed an annual marketing audit and drew upon data gathered to create and implement an integrated marketing strategy• Created a digital customer satisfaction survey and managed tracking and reporting of survey results• Managed all operations of an in-house design and production firm• Implemented a systems redesign at above firm to spread institutional knowledge, eliminate bottlenecks and alleviate stress points• Directed corporate giving - our team helped raise over $300,000 annually. Events and partners included Pride Northwest, Auction Napa Valley and the Children's Center among others• Led and executed media outreach efforts in multiple markets building on professional relationships with local media and key influencers• Launched a brand ambassador program to leverage the passion of Airstream customers who became influencers through in-person events and YouTube storytelling• Designed and implemented a strategy for the launch of a new dealership

• Worked with top coaches in skeet and sporting clays to manage creative projects including production and marketing of three hardcover and seven paperback books on sports performance• Researched and co-authored books from notes, videos, interviews and articles• Consulted on social media strategy and platforms• Managed all editing and design coordination on all publications• Advised on book promotion to media outlets, booksellers and distribution companies

• Established this 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to bringing renewable energy education to area schools• Co-constructed the SolTrekker flagship vehicle, an older motorhome that we rebuilt into a fully functioning educational platform for sustainability, featuring solar electric and hot water panels, biodiesel fueled engine, rainwater catchment system and a host of other green building materials• Co-conceived and launched the Solar Waffle Works, Portland's first solar powered food cart, through a partnership program with Portland Public Schools' Community Transition Program, On-the-Move Community Integration and Albertina Kerr.• Prepared all annual reports and budgeting, approving and tracking expenditures on a monthly basis• Regularly evaluated program effectiveness and reported results to board of directors and donors• Worked to engage and energize a team of 10-20 regular volunteers, as well as board members and partnering organizations• Collaborated with volunteers, the board and other community stakeholders to create and write organizational mission, core values, vision statement and founding policies• Individually raised over $50,000 through grant writing and advocacy • Directed media launch, gaining articles in the Oregonian, New York Times and others• Initiated and directed social media strategy on platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram• Oversaw and executed all communication with donors and community partners using MailChimp and Constant Contact platforms• Produced educational curriculum and detailed lesson plans for solar generator program• Coordinated educational presentations to over 50 schools and organizations, reaching thousands of students• Featured speaker: University of Portland, Portland Community College, Go Green Expo and other events

• Supported adults with disabilities in community integration, forming positive relationships and honing employment skills at the Solar Waffle Works partnership program• Initiated the organization’s grant application program; developing grant goals, grant templates, program budgets and strategic development document• Achieved successful grant application to a major local foundation in the first round of applications, leading to a second successful grant six months later

• Managed all corporate publications and corporate communications in a position requiring high-level journalism, marketing and public relations skills• Co-developed marketing plans for four brands and reported to Director of Marketing and CEO• Developed and implemented metrics to monitor marketing impact and return on investment• Co-directed creative vision for custom-published magazines (circulation 75,000) used as marketing and educational tools for customers• Oversaw magazine production start to finish, collaborated on press releases/media relations• Authored over 250 articles for four magazines• Developed social media strategy and directed activities in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Wordpress, among other platforms• Brokered marketing alliances with organizations including The Today Show, PGA, NASCAR and Mattel• Managed website team to integrate magazine into company website
