Served as a subject matter expert for 1 or 2 picking methods at Victoria's Secret DC6 - the Pick-to-Light (PTL) tower. This often involved communicating process failures related to inventory control in the PTL cross departmentally. Doing this, along with completing my department's responsibilities with the highest attention to detail, helped optimize the flow of the PTL and contribute towards the facility's peak season goal of 275,000 units picked daily• Optimized the flow of a Pick-to-Light (PTL) structure by slotting, utilizing PKMS warehouse management system, up to 500 SKUs in accordance to forecasted and real time demand, system and product limitations, and promotional activity• Trained and managed a group of 2-8 material handlers responsible for identifying inventory control related issues in the PTL through active inventory auditing and cycle counting• Resolved various inventory control related issues in the PTL and shared findings with other department leadership to modify or reinforce standard operating procedures• Consulted Salesforce and other promotional calendars to help develop and execute strategy for the on-time availability of promotional products• Determined PTL product placement and identified inventory control related issues through the use of production reports generated by MicroStrategy (MSI) and Microsoft Excel• Applied, discussed, and tracked corrective action plans with associates having interpersonal and/or job-related difficulties• Managed employee timecards in Kronos and ensured department budgets were adhered to by the timely and accurate use of department task codes• Served as primary point of contact for the department on the distribution of administrative information, such as monthly safety topics, company advancement opportunities, or facility updates
