My duties include remediation of design history files (DHF) for knee mechanical implants and surgical instruments for total knee revision arthroplasty following the design control process. In particular, I have worked on generating design inputs and outputs following the quality management system (QMS), ISO, and FDA standards.

I worked with the Clinical Engineering department at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. During my time at this position, I completed preventative maintenance and repairs on patient monitoring, physical therapy, pumps, dialysis equipment and other medical devices following manufacturers specifications and regulatory standards.

I was a Co-Op for the Advanced Molecular Imaging Team at Philips Healthcare. My responsibilities within this group include verification testing of detection methods for the Vereos PET scanner, documentation of novel detection methods used in testing and PET detector assembly following ISO and FDA medical device regulatory standards.

While a part of the OsteoEngineering Lab led by Dr. David Dean, I completed or assisted with cell culture, 3D printing/additive manufacturing, and animal research studies. During my time as a research assistant, I gained valuable leadership and technical skills leading a group of fellow students on these studies.I have presented a poster at the BioCeramics Conference in Columbus, OH in 2014.
