In 1998 ADEC funded a joint ammonia training session in Kodiak that brought AFD and FNSB HMRT to Kodiak island to work with Kodiak Fire and the Ammonia Institute. The Statewide HazMat Working Group works to align HazMat response throughout the State, develop recommendations, sponsor training, and most importantly helps with developing relationships amongst the teams/groups.
